MY STORY

Welcome to Exhaling Grace

Hi! My name is Charnae Decker, and this is Exhaling Grace. In my life I am most proud of the family that my husband and I are building. We’re growing five little happy humans with joyful hearts and brave souls. We’re breathing in the chaos and the messy, and we are exhaling grace in all that we do.

Five summers ago I read, “Present Over Perfect”, and it was a game changer for me. Since then I’ve been learning to embrace the imperfect, to relish in the simple moments, and to find the joy in the every day.

For most of my life I was only sharing my stories and my journeys with those who were closest to me, with an occasional post on Facebook. However, I feel like we need a village; in life, in womanhood, in motherhood, in all of it. We need people.

We need people to talk to and hearts that will open up and listen and offer support. I’m a believer in love and forgiveness, for trying your best and taking a risk, for living and appreciating each day as the gift that it is, and for knowing that no one is perfect and therefore we need to be wrapping ourselves and everyone else up with acceptance and grace.

I became a Seint Artist because I loved the products and the company. I had no idea how much this “side hustle” would grow my confidence, my relationships, and my heart. I wanted to create a business and a VIP page where I could share my experiences with others, and have a safe nonjudgmental place for women to share their experiences as well. I wanted to create a space where we could come together to support and learn from one another; a space where we felt heard, seen, loved, appreciated, and not alone.

Through my journey with Seint I put “Present Over Perfect” to the test and I have learned to be brave and share my experiences with others. I’ve learned how to pause and reflect and gain comfort in my shortcomings. And I’ve learned how to celebrate my successes.

I want to grow as a person, I want to grow as a friend, as a mentor, a teacher, a wife, a leader, a Seint Artist, and I want to grow as a mom. That is why I am choosing to open up and invite you into my life. Let’s learn and grow together; in life, in health and happiness, in beauty, in motherhood, in friendship, and in every day happenings.
